Chocolate Fondue

4 squares bakers unsweetened chocolate (two wrapped bars)
1 cup sugar
1 half-pint whipping cream or half-and-half
1 teaspoon vanilla

Fill fondue pot with very hot water and set aside.  Have a handful of paper towels ready.

Chop the chocolate as finely as you can stand.  Add to a sauce pan over medium heat and stir as it melts.  Stir in sugar, and let cook for two minutes, stirring constantly before whisking in liquid.  Cook for another three minutes.  Transfer to fondue pot which has immediately before been drained and quickly dried.

Serve with:   Fresh Banana slices, Fresh Strawberries, Fresh Raspberries, Marshmallows, Maraschino Cherries, slightly frozen Pound Cake or Angel Food Cake
